Assessment tools will not tell you your future.
They will, however, help you understand who you are and as such, give an indication of areas in which you can use your gifts and skills. Career Services employs a battery of assessments which we believe can help you gain insight to future choices.Please contact Career Services at (630) 752-5048 to take one or more of the following assessments.
Both StrengthsQuest and CareerDirect require a follow-up appointment in order to professionally interpret your results.
StrengthsQuest
Cost: $13
Identifies: Strengths
This 30-minute assessment
reveals your top five themes of talent. You receive an online code and password
as well as access to other online tools to help you maximize your top strengths.
CareerDirect
Cost: $13
Identifies: Interests, Skills, and Values
Career Direct examines four
essential components of career selection: personality, interests, skills, and
values, and combines biblical principles of stewardship of talents with career
guidance technology.
Career Cruising
Cost: Free
Identifies: Interests and Values
Email us to receive a log-on code and
password to access the online Career Cruising Planning Program. Results can
provide basic knowledge to identify compatible occupations, programs of study,
training options, and preparation for job placement. Should
be used in conjunction with either CareerDirect or StrengthQuest.
